We are planning on digging up callla lillies.

Arrival time is 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., and plan to work until approximately 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in this beautiful, historic and peaceful garden.

2.  At least 3 volunteers are needed for each shift.
3.  If it is raining on your scheduled day, the rain date will be the next day.
4.  Plan to bring the same items you take to work at Butler-McCook.

Time for a road trip (aka field trip) to Old Mystic, CT, to visit B. F. Clyde’s Cider Mill

The oldest steam powered cider mill in the U.S.

Clyde’s produces cider, hard cider and apple wine. It is a national historic landmark, est. 1881.

Date:            Saturday, November 10th

Time:           Leaving the parking lot opposite Target at 9:30 am and returning about 3:00 pm.

11:00 am     Cider making demonstration weather permitting.Time for purchasing cider and wine if desired.

Noon            Lunch at the Steak Loft in Old Mystic Village and time to stroll the village.
