Providing a program of garden therapy for youth and adults ~ providing materials and instruction for a ”hands on” experience with flowers/gardening on a regular basis at these sites:

*Hillcrest Area Neighborhood Outreach Center (HANOC) (Junior Gardeners)
*West Hartford Health & Rehab Center (physically challenged)
Children’s Earth Day Floral Arrangements
These lovely arrangements were created by children at the Hillcrest Area Neighborhood Outreach Center on Earth Day as gifts for their mothers. Floral Design members Mel Donoghue, Bela Mandavilli, Mary Mulcahy, and Nancy Lemega-Watt, together with Tanya Guadalupe of Junior Gardeners, guided the activity and enjoyed it as much as the children
This circular bed greets residents and visitors to A. E. Plant Housing.
In June members put in plants and mulch at West Hartford Health & Rehab. The result was a pretty spot for residents to view from their patio and for folks on the Trout Brook Trail, which runs opposite the facility, to admire.
