Planting Perennials at 4 Elementary Schools

As of last Friday, the Town of West Hartford officially has
school-campus pollinator gardens as a part of our school curriculum!

Zachary Potter-Vose, who has been working hard as part of a board of education project to establish the
new town-wide 3rd grade outdoor curriculum, is planting perennials to make improvements at four elementary schools in town. He plans to spend about 1 hour at each school to plant about a dozen plants in the established garden beds at each school, adding a light mulch cover, and watering. He is looking for +/- 2 volunteers to help, and could break up the day with different volunteers depending on their availability.
