Floral Design Workshop
Feb 16 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

“Principles of Horizontal Flower Arranging” will be via Zoom.  Check your email for information.

During the session there will be a brief explanation of the principles along with a demonstration, and time for you to create your own arrangement and share it with your fellow Zoomers. Attendance is free.

We will meet via Zoom on February 16th from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. We will ask that you provide a low container (plastic is fine) filled with soaked floral foam and:

*  Six medium-sized flowers such as roses, mums or carnations, all one color

*  Four or five sprays of smaller flowers such as button mums or mini carnations that are a different color and type from the medium flowers

*  Several stems of a floral filler such as baby’s breath

*  Five to six branches of greenery, such as leatherleaf ferns, or a bunch of greens from the grocery store or two or three evergreen branches from your garden.

Because the session will be two days before Valentine’s Day, it is highly recommended you get your materials before February 14th. We have been told that there may be very little choice after the holiday.

Please sign up by February 11th by texting Charlotte Massie at 860-280-6802 or emailing her at charmassie@yahoo.com. Please call Charlotte Massie or Nancy Lemega-Watt at 860-944-3122 if you have any questions.
