Gardening at Noah Webster House
May 16 @ 8:30 am – 10:30 am

1.  Shifts are scheduled from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
2.  At least 3 volunteers are needed for each shift.
3.  If it is raining on your scheduled day, the rain date will be the next day.
4.  Plan to bring the same items you take to work at Butler-McCook.

Flower Arranging Study Group @ Noah Webster House
May 16 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Reminder: The final Flower Arranging Study Group workshop will be Wednesday, May 16, at the Noah Webster House from 2-4 p.m. Janet Ward will kindly demonstrate ways of using branches with our arrangements.    Members will be given the same flowers to create their own arrangement.  We will also have wet foam oasis available should you wish to use this. Please bring a vase or container  (6-8 inches) and  pruners/scissors.  If you have some suitable branches from your garden, then please brings them also. This should be a fun way to end our year!
If you would like to join the group, please contact Sheila Daley at tek_systems@yahoo.com or Mary Mulcahy at mulcahymaryp@gmail.com  asap as we need to have a count to purchase the correct amount of flowers.

Junior Gardeners Workshop @ Hillcrest Area Neighborhood Outreach Center

We will be planting flowers with the students.  Please bring your garden tools and a watering can.  We look forward to working with you and the children on this worthwhile Garden Club and Community Project.

Board Meeting & Brunch @ Marcia DeBolt's

This is a reminder that the last board meeting of this program year will be held on Monday, June  4, at Marcia Debolt’s  home, 110 Terry Road in Hartford. Please note the change in time of the meeting. 
We will be celebrating all the current board members  and project chairs as well as introducing our new board members. Plan to arrive at 10:00 am and find a seatThe meeting will begin at 10:15.  We will not be serving beverages or snacks during the meeting.  Instead, we will be serving brunch immediately after the meeting. Weather permitting, we hope to eat outside in Marcia’s lovely yard.  
If it is convenient, please bring a chair suitable for outside .
All committee co-chairs and project chairs are invited.
