Clematis as the Ultimate Garden Companion

with Linda Beutler

FREE for members, $10 non member donation

Learn all about cold weather Clematis and how to marry them with shrubs, trees, and more from Linda Beutler. She is the first curator of the world renowned Rogerson Clematis Collection, a position she she began in July, 2007).

Linda’s love of gardening began at the age of 3 when she harvested strawberries with her grandfather. Her home garden in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland, Oregon reflects her garden passions, including old garden roses, herbaceous perennials and shrubs for cutting, and her 200 favorite Clematis.

Linda has been an adjunct instructor of horticulture at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, OR since 1996. She is the Immediate Past President of the International Clematis Society, the author of Timber Press’ Gardening with Clematis (2004), Garden to Vase (2007), and Plant Lovers Guide to Clematis (2016), and has published some fictional “variations” on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, in which she plants herself in the author’s novel, bringing her love of all things blooming with her!
