Polar vortex. Siberian cold. Snow. Ice. Freezing Rain. UGH!

The Federated Garden Clubs has just the thing to turn your thoughts to budding trees, flowering gardens and emerging vegetables — the 96th Annual Meeting and Luncheon on Wednesday, April 16.

Our speaker will be Larry Weaner, a landscape designer, who is sure to get our creative thoughts flowing.  The Federation will also install our new slate of officers, headed by Nan Merolla as President.

The luncheon will be at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville and will again feature a terrific lineup of vendors.   Come at 9 a.m. to give yourself some time to register, greet friends, check out the raffle, and shop before we begin the program at 10 a.m.

You can renew your wardrobe, buy some new jewelry, some garden art, pottery or other items, or you can stock up for summer birthdays or anniversaries. Our vendors have many unusual and hand-made items. Ten percent of the sales benefit the Federation’s scholarship program.
Our raffle is amazing, thanks to the vendors who give generously.
Aqua Turf meals are always outstanding.  And best of all, the price of the luncheon remains $45.
The luncheon includes your choice of:
– New York Strip Sirloin GF;
– Chicken Florentine, egged and sautéed. served over baby spinach, topped with a lemon cream sauce;
– Pasta Primavera,  seasoned vegetables tossed in an Alfredo sauce; or
– Pan Seared Salmon with a whole grain mustard, honey and ginger glaze, GF.
Meals include salad, vegetables, starch, bread and butter, dessert, soda, coffee, and  tea.
Single Registration is on-line only. Your registration will be confirmed by email. Registration closes on Wednesday, April 9 at 5 p.m.
