Home for the Holidays, Garden Club Style – a fun holiday celebration featuring clubs across the Americas decorating in local style and flavor. Pre-registration is on the NGC website. Space is limited to 500 but all workshops are recorded and posted on the Member Resources page. These programs are free of charge. The video and information from the first program on November 8th can be found on their website under Member Resource Library.

Contact Gary Bagdashian, the manager, at 860-462-7368 at Plant Housing that you will be bringing the flowers on that Wednesday. Pick up flowers at the flower kiosk between 10 am and 2 pm. and deliver to Plant Housing.

Learn all about cold weather Clematis and how to marry them with shrubs, trees, and more from Linda Beutler. She is the first curator of the world renowned Rogerson Clematis Collection, a position she she began in July, 2007). Linda’s love of gardening began at the age of 3 when she harvested strawberries with her grandfather. Her home garden in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland, Oregon reflects her garden passions, including old garden roses, herbaceous perennials and shrubs for cutting, and her 200 favorite Clematis. Linda has been an adjunct instructor of horticulture at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, OR since 1996. She is the Immediate Past President of the International Clematis Society, the author of Timber Press’ Gardening with Clematis (2004), Garden to Vase (2007), and Plant Lovers Guide to Clematis (2016), and has published some fictional “variations” on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, in which she plants herself in the author’s novel, bringing her love of all things blooming with her!
