Rose Weekend @ Elizabeth Park

America’s oldest public rose garden will celebrate its 116th anniversary Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a wide range of free educational and family-friendly activities. The annual event showcases the Park’s stunning gardens at the peak of their seasonal beauty, featuring thousands of rose bushes and arches in bloom.

Please plan to give us at least one hour of your time during the morning. Please bring your favorite tools for weeding and pruning. One of us will arrive at the garden by 8:30 a.m. Need a ride or directions? Let one of us know when you reply.

PARKING: Parking will be in the newly paved lot next to the Amos Bull House on South Prospect Street. We encourage you to carpool as space is limited.

We plan to work if the rain is light. If it is pouring, you will get a cancellation call by 8:00 a.m.
• If you are unable to work on your signup date, please let one of us know so that we can reschedule you and help you find a replacement for your shift.

POSTPONED TO JULY 15 – Co-Presidents Thank You Garden Party @ Marcia DeBolt's

We are NOT going to meet today for the Co-Presidents party as we have definite stormy weather in our path.

We will meet next Wednesday, July 15, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.  It is suppose to be a nice, sunny afternoon.

Rain Date for Co-Presidents Thank You Garden Party @ Marcia DeBolt's
Jul 15 @ 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Since we are still practicing Covid-19 distancing and sanitation, the following are a few suggestions for our gathering:

1) Please bring your own chair.

2) Bring your mask, in case we decide to get close.

3) We will be outdoors in the backyard. Feel free to park in driveway.

4) Marcia’s powder room is available, please wear your mask if you come inside the house. She will have santi-wipes.

5) She will have hand sanitizer outside & use disposables and forks for snacks.

She plans to have a simple snack or two that can be eaten with a fork, sparkling water, prosecco, and white wine.  If you prefer to bring your own drink, free free to.
