PARKING: Parking will be in the newly paved lot next to the Amos Bull House on South Prospect Street. We encourage you to carpool as space is limited.
We plan to work if the rain is light. If it is pouring, you will get a cancellation call by 8:00 a.m.
• If you are unable to work on your signup date, please let one of us know so that we can reschedule you and help you find a replacement for your shift.

“Tablescapes: A Literary Lunch with Favorite Connecticut Authors”
The spotlight during this year’s meeting will be on our members and clubs receiving over eighty State, Regional and National awards!
In addition, 11 of our Garden Clubs are staging fabulous and innovative Classic or Contemporary tablescapes, featuring a book written by a Connecticut author. These imaginative table designs will push the envelope in terms of floral arrangements and table settings with minimal rules.
And, YOU can cast your vote for:

- Best Use of Color
- Best use of plant material

Speaker: Haley Billip, Owner of Eddy Farm, Newington, CT
Haley will discuss a modern history of Eddy Farm, the last remaining farm in Newington, Connecticut, and her commitment to sustainable growing practices to produce bountiful fresh cut flowers.

Due to the upcoming bad weather, please join us on December 1 in filling the outdoor planters at Elmgrove Apartments on Grove Street and then Alfred E. Plant on Farmington Avenue. Please bring clippers and a large screwdriver to poke holes if the soil is frozen.
Due to Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service in effect from December 1, 11 am, until December 3, 7 am, with the warning that, “Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.”
