Feeling artistic? Find inspiration in our historic garden and create a seasonal floral arrangement of your own design with a stunning assortment of plant materials, including some from the Butler-McCook Garden. Butler-McCook House & Garden

Hartford Hip-Hop lyricist and poet Ghazi Omair will focus on the musical space between Hip-Hop and Jazz, with an evening of music, rap, poetry and dance. Joined by DJ Z-Rex, jazz musicians Matt Dwonszyk – Bass, Jonathan Barber – Drums, Taber Gable – Piano/Keys, Michael Pallas –Trombone, and Josh Bruneau – Trumpet, and dancers Chantal Edwards Matthews and Savana Jones, Ghazi will interweave his rap/poetry and conversations of social commentary between the songs.

Supported by the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, this project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services [CAGML-248024-OMLS-20].

You are invited to come to the Autumn Splendor Tour Wrap-up meeting/party Friday, October 1, at 4 pm. at Madeleine’s house: 142 Bainbridge Road, West Hartford, CT 06119.

The weather looks good for a bonfire so she is planning to get through the agenda by 5 so we can light the fire and pop the champagne then.

Committee members please send Madeleine your reports as a document in an email by Thursday night so that she can add them to the agenda and final report.
