NGC Symposium, October 15-18, 2018, Water’s Edge, Westbrook, CT.

CALL TO NEGC MEETING AND NGC SYMPOSIUM

Please join me and your fellow NEGC members on Monday, October 15th, 2018, for a Cocktail Reception.  Following dinner there will be a Designer Challenge where each designer is given identical mechanics and plant material to create her “masterpiece!”  Please volunteer to present your own challenge that evening!

The 84th Business Meeting will convene at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, Oct. 16th.

Leslie Martino will give our program “History of Community Gardening” and the CSA concept.  Following the NEGC Annual Meeting the NGC Symposium will begin featuring talks on “The 21st Century Global Flower Market,” and an Allied Subject “Certified American Grown Flowers.”  Penny Decker and Dorothy Yard will give Wednesday and Thursday’s Design and Horticulture lectures.  There will be plenty of vendors to attract your attention every day!

ALL NEGC OFFICERS AND CHAIRMEN ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND.

All members of NEGC clubs are both invited and encouraged to attend, to take part in the business meeting and to enjoy and learn from the programs being presented.

REGISTRATION MATERIALS AND DETAILS OF THE MEETINGS MAY BE FOUND ON THE Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut website at www.ctgardenclubs.org.  Registration deadline for both is Sept. 30th.
