Susan Grew, Debbie Lynch and Maureen Gould agreed to do a table for the Avon Historical Society “Tablescapes” event. The event raises funds to restore the 1823 schoolhouse #3 on Route 44 in Avon.
They are entering as members of the West Hartford Garden Club and hope by being participants in this event, attendance at our Garden Tour will be reciprocated by members of the Historical Society as well. Their theme is “Spring at the Pond.” Attendees can vote for their favorite Tablescape for prizes!
The event will be held on Friday, March 17, (10 am to 7 pm) and Saturday, March 18, (10 am to 5 pm) at the historic North House, in the Belle Ballroom, 1 Nod Road, Avon.
Tickets are $15 if purchased 24 hours before event, $20 at the door. Tickets can be ordered on-line www.avonhistoricalsociety.org and held at the door for you. Maureen has some tickets available and can deliver them to you (first come, first serve) by Thursday, March 16.
