The Helen S. Kaman Rose Garden is currently enjoying a fantastic second bloom\, the perennial garden is vibrant\, and late September should offer beautiful weather for a morning stroll together. \nMark plans to cover as many of the garden spaces as time allows\, and he would love to know if our members have specific interests so he can tailor the tour accordingly. \nNext Steps: Please reply to let me know if you plan to attend (for headcount purposes) and share any specific garden areas or topics you hope Mark will cover.

The event\, as originally scheduled\, was canceled due to the chance for sudden severe weather. \nCome learn about the project and enjoy the birds\, insects\, native plants\, and natural beauty of this special place\, where our club members have been working almost weekly for the past five years. \nSunday\, September 27\, 2026\n3:00–5:00 p.m.\nFree and open to the public \nRegistration is requested HERE to help with planning. \nA small parking lot is located just north of the intersection of Mountain Road and Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. \nPlease wear sturdy\, comfortable footwear.
